Heraeus Noblelight America makes a variety of UV curing systems for use in electronics components such as marking, coating, potting and bonding applications. Since most electronic components are small, our 6-inch systems, including the F300S and Light Hammer® 6, are typically used.
System selection is determined by part size, line speeds and chemistry formulation. For low volume production, our bench top conveyors – the LC6B for the U.S. and LC6E for Europe – floor-standing standing conveyor DRS 10/12, or static cure chambers will likely meet your needs.
For high production, automated lines our lamp systems may be retrofitted onto existing lines or incorporated into new lines.
Conformal coating of PCBs is commonly done using Heraeus Noblelight America's F300S system with H bulb, with the boards traveling in a continuous linear motion beneath the UV lamp. Most manufacturers simply retrofit the Heraeus Noblelight lamp onto their existing line.
Most potting applications include both the dispensing unit and curing equipment in one machine, which is added into the existing line. Typically, dispenser or turnkey integrators who incorporate our F300S unit into their system supply these machines.
